Keeping your pets healthy is our main goal
One of the easiest ways we can do this is with regular annual health checks and vaccinations. This is where we pick up small changes in your pets health that we can often intervene before things become serious.
Vaccinations are important to protect against specific diseases and are essential when your pets are staying in boarding facilities.
Cats are vaccinated against the viruses that cause Cat Flu and panleucopaenia. Your vet may recommend an optional FIV (feline Aids) vaccination as well for high risk cats.
Dogs are vaccinated against Parvo virus, distemper and hepatitis viruses, leptospirosis – these are fatal diseases that are spread between dogs and are highly contagious, we also offer kennel cough vaccinations to decrease the chances of developing the super contagious canine cough.
We also routinely vaccinate rabbits against both V1 and V2 strains of the deadly calicivirus. Rabbits can be vaccinated from ten weeks of age and require a single vaccination followed by an annual booster.
